WHY I AM A MORMON
Although I was raised in a Mormon family, that is not the primary reason I am a member of the church today. At some point in life, each person must decide what they believe about who we really are, where we came from and what happens after we die. Losing close family members to death has helped me face some of these questions directly and closely examine what I believe and why I believe it.
The Mormon religion gives answers that make the most sense to me about these questions. I feel the greatest peace when I study these teachings, and my belief grows stronger as I live them. The Book of Mormon has influenced my life tremendously as has The Bible. I feel a powerful confirmation of the truth of these books of scripture each time I read them.
HOW I LIVE MY FAITH
I really enjoy participating in service in the church. I have done a variety of different activities, such as playing the piano for the church group young children attend on Sundays and leading youth groups. I have also worked in different administrative positions that help ensure that our local church unit functions successfully. These have included keeping and updating church records and helping with the financial accounting.
